I just had to have this little vacuum cleaner.

Made around the 50’s / 60’s by a local manufacture, which I can’t find any information on, so I can only guess at the age.

Plate information:
E.W.Jones LTD
Wellington, Shropshire, UK
Ser No 9004 Model J1960 WREKIN

Wellington in Shropshire is only an hour’s drive from my home, the Wrekin is a hill, actually it’s a dead volcano in the hart of Shropshire.

The vacuum works but needs the usual re-wire and clean, the end plates need a fresh coat of paint.

It measures about 15inch in length and about 7inch in diameter.
On 9inch slay skids.

Vacuum chamber cover, many years of pipe insertion have chipped away the paint which has lead to the rust problem.

Funny little machine, it has no power switch to turn in on and off with.

It came with a carpet tool, hard floor tool, dusting brush and hoses.

That it for now, it joins the queue in the workshop, along with a grey Hoover constellation and cloths dryer.
