White Kenmore

Ron and I have that white Kenmore canister. We got it for 20$ with all attachments. Needs a new filter at some point, as it looks like the lady who had it washed it everyday! I assume you can use Sanyo filters.

Nice canisters and they have good suction. I think those two are from the 90s. I have a brown and tan one from 1983. It doesn't have on board tools, but they store with the hose in a bin underneath:

And yes, they were made by Sanyo. As you can see mine only has the small brush, I guess the longer brush came later.

Such cute little canisters! Made by Sanyo....and they all store on top of plastic tool boxes that hold all the tools - including the hose and 3-piece wand!

They are very quiet and powerful! Just wish the hoses would have been 2 feet longer...

I saw one of those in C/L here a few weeks ago, it was red, but missing the hose. I knew it was straight suction so I didn't consider it.... Glad you got some fun vacs from your childhood that you can enjoy.

I wish that Panasonic would re-introduce these Sanyos to the market - they bought Sanyo a few years ago. They are great little compact vacs - if Panasonic could rework them to use disposable bags instead of the "dust cassette", that would be even better!

Can some of you vac dealers ask your Panasonic rep to send the request to "headquarters"! :-)
