Shame the CIII has an F&G bag fitted, but for the price it's worth a punt (see if you can get the seller to take something like $35 for the pair).... :) |

Yes, the outer bag on the Classic III is an after-market or 'bojack' bag. It uses Eureka type F&G paper filter bags. Many old Kirby vacuums were refitted with these types of bag systems in the late '70's and '80's. They are still available, but do not work as well as the genuine Kirby 'mini-emtor'. If you plan to use the Classic III you can buy a used outer bag and mini emtor on eBay for around $35 to $55 and use the HEPA filter bags.
