While I was playing around on Ebay today I saw one of these. In all my years of being on Ebay this is a first. My mom had one of these. It was a okay machine but she stashed it upstairs and went and got something different because this didn't have a brushroll.

Enjoy!!!

Bags

I had a customer bring one in needing bags last week along with her G-4 needing belt and routine service. The bags (5042) meant a trip to the attic. These had nice design and style.Even though they are basic quality it does have blower and tool storage. There are more bags in the attic between the Shetland bags and the Westinghouse bags and more and more.

I had one and my cousin had the blue one. God I miss those. My dad got mine for me in 1990 on clearence for 40 bucks. I thought he got the extended warranty(so did he) so I took it to sears to fix the switch and get a wheel and when it came back they wanted $102.00, mom was like keep it =(

Not a bad basic vacuum, the suction was very good and even the carpet nozzle did a decent job on med plush, but the attachments were only so so.

They did have a white and gray one with a power nozzle, also Singer(Royobi made them) had a red/beige one with a PN.

Thanks for the flash back =)

Mom liked hers but at the time she had a lot of carpet and needed something with a power nozzle. I think she wound up using it for three months and and went and bought something different. When my sister moved out she gave it to my sister and it still runs and my sister said it works well for her.

Wow, nice to know it still runs, I wish I still had mine. I guess they weren't very popular cause there so few and far between. This is the first one Ive seen in about 15 years. The plastics were prone to break especially the wand clips. Mine actually had buttons in the same gray as did the red model and the white model. The clips were on the earlier versions from 87/88 till 89ish when they put buttons on the wands instead of the color coordenated clips.
