Hey guys would anyone know where I can find one? It's the wire bracket used to hold the out bag on the older metal base convertibles. I accidentally broke mine, any substitutes? Thanks.

Are you talking about the bag spring or the bag latch? You might be able to find a bag spring on eBay, or you could ask a Hoover collector.

It's the metal wire piece that holds the outer bag in place at the bottom of the bag where the back wheels are.

I have two Complete Convertible Bags...

In my Basement, I have a Complete 1070 Bag and an Aqua Colored Convertible Bag, with Zipper, for a 593, so I should have what you want.

Or...

If you are Talking about the shaped Wire, that's on the Body of the Convertible itself, that holds the Bag, I have that as well.

How much for the wire?

OK...

I'll remove it from one of my Parts Convertibles, take a Picture and Post it, so you can see if it's exactly what you want and if it is, you can make me an Offer... ;-) Keep in mind, I've been SCREWED on ebay a few times over the Years, like many other Members here, so if you need anything else for a Convertible or Hoover Concept even, I've prolly got it, lol... ;-)

I tell you what...

Give me $10.00 and I'll send it to you in a nice Box Tomorrow, I'll send it USPS Priority.

This Time last Year, I would have just sent it to you for Free, but I am on a VERY LIMITED Income from Disability and SSI, so with my Health getting even Poorer and not being able to Pay my Bills, not without Help anyway, well, I can't Afford to give anything away, not even something that small you know, every little bit Helps me out and even though I have Items Listed on ebay and Craigslist, I haven't Sold anything yet. :-(
