Hey, how is everyone one? Thanks for taking your time to read this!
Going back to an old post about a kirby box i found my nans loft, well today i had the chance to search for something...
I thought it was the actual Kirby box but it turned out to be the rug renovator, i was slightly dissapointed to say the least. I thought again and knowing my nan would not just keep the rug renovator without the kirby. Moving a couple box's appeared the Classic 3! Its not in the best of condition and missing a good few parts, so i thought of a fourm activity to help me find, complete and fix it up. I need any information or any help anyone can offer!
Here are some pictures as a before to this long term restoration.

Looks like she needs a bit of work... And a front end!!

But it is doable, and I'd love to see what she turns out like after renovation.

Hi Jake. Where is the rest of the kirby??I think your going to have to go back in to the loft/attic and look for the main head, Bag and emp-tor.
It will save you quite a bit of money if you can find them.

James:o)

It should be possible if you have the original instruction book with the information in it.  Remember though any missing parts you will be charged extra for.  I believe they still have some left as I had that model done a year ago and it came back beautiful.

She does not have the instruction booklet, but is the original owner. Arewell, its cheaper to do it myself.
Thanks very much though!
Do you know if its possible to grease bearings on the classic 3 or do they have to be replaced?

Hi Jake

I found this nozzle for your classic III. I don't know if the seller will ship internationally. Richard is a great guy. I bought most of the parts to build my Sentria from him and won't hesitate to buy from him again.

I am watching that, just a bit too pricey to buy and probably post to the UK.
I know there are some kirby nutters on here that im hoping could help with the powerhead, must have one in your spare parts box or donor machine!
You have been a great help Jfalberti :)
