this machine is very dear to me and this breaks my heart. the base next to the left fan is cracked and now that side just flops around and the handle sits crooked. i cried just about when it happend. my dad is a big guy and he went into the vacuum room for a daily driver. it was dark and it got crunched. i warn you some or theses images my by unsettling.

Ouch!

That's a shame but don't give up hope.   I have seen some impressive repairs done by people using some of the newer adhesive products on the market.   You might be able to fix it with some careful surgery and lots of patience.

FYI I may have a base that is actually for the Singer, brand new in the box, Perhaps even the knob. I will check and see. I know I have new motors and fans Lh and Rh.

Gorilla glue will fix just about anything and it is really strong. It does expand when it dries. I don't know if the excess could be sanded off? If you tried a piece, see how it works and try to keep the ooze to the underside?

i use....

somrthing called lock tight....there are sevral diffrent varites, but i use the professinal control super glue in the red and black bottle. that stuff is good and does not exspand, ive been able to even repair Eureka Power Head screw postes that have heen snapped for the bottom plate screws, and they are strong enough that i can acually use it!!!....id say if worse comes to wrse ten go find you some Locktight,=)

JB Weld 2 part epoxy is what I have used to repair cracked Sanitaire bases. I am sure it would work perfectly for your situation.

I second the JB Weld idea

I used JB Weld recently for the first time to fix a Regina that cracked horribly like yours. It worked perfectly! Give it a try, it's worth a shot.
