I swore I wasn't going to buy a Kirby Sentria because as soon as I did, then Kirby would introduce the new model. Well, I was browsing eBay and saw a Sentria power plant and rug nozzle in separate auctions so I bought them both. I guess I'm going to build a Sentria. Now all I need is the handle assembly and bag/emptor assembly and I'll have the newest Kirby, (for about a week). Kirby is sure to introduce the new model now! :-)

Isn't that always how it happens? LOL!

Seems to work that way for me!

Silly question:

I have an Ultimate G Diamond Edition that I really like a lot. What supposedly makes the Sentria better than the DE? What do others like better about the Sentria than previous Kirby models?

Actually, Kirby has come out and said that they will be changing the Sentria to a new color in 2012, but hasn't said what color. There is also a lot of rumors running around that the new Avalier will be coming in 2014, so you have a couple years.

I've completed building my Sentria! I'm excited. I bought most of the parts from Richard at new2you vacuums. I can't wait for everything to arrive so I can put it all together. Thank you so much Richard! Pictures to follow when assembled.

That kind of thing always happens to me.

For example this year the grass stopped growing in October so I ran the mower out of fuel and stored it away for winter, then within a week the grass started growing again!

I didn't bother taking it out - I'll just have to cut more in Spring, but still, that always happens.
