Happy Thanksgiving.
Recently, I bought a Miele Bolero for a good price. Its former owners were slightly confused: I assume that they thought it was a garbage disposal. I am basing my opinion on the clog I pulled out of the machine that ran from the base of the machine to the end of the hose handle. Yes, a clog the entire length of the hose. The clog was caused by two pencils that were lodged in the works. After a good laugh, a thorough cleaning and a new belt (I assume that the belt was damaged when the Miele met said pencils) the Bolero cleans like new. I want to Vacuum Cleaner Headquarters, a Miele dealer in my area and found out that I am the first person they ever sold an S-7 belt to. I love this vacuum. The housings however, have scratches on them. Is there a way to wet sand the scratches and buff them out? I suppose I could live with them but I would rather have it appear shiny and new. Any information is greatly appreciated.

The scratches are on the front bad housing and the lower nozzle. I'll post pics of it soon.

I have the read one, I'll see if I can post some pics of how we do it later, You will need a orbital sander , very fine grit sandpaper 350 grit all the way to 1000 grit and a buffing wheel on a drill or straight dye grinder hooked to a compresor.

very similar to buffing up a Kirby if you have ever done that? you just have to be a bit more gentle
