I'm trying to figure out the problem with my recently acquired Fantom Cyclone XT i don't know if this is a circuit board problem or a brush roll problem but the brush will spin until the vac touches the carpet and if this is a board problem i would buy or trade for a used working board

sounds like the field coil in the brush motor might be on its way out
