Hello!

My DC04 De Stijl is for sale! It is working 100%, cleaned the top filter and has only been used twice since. It has the official mathching colour crevice and brush tool, but a third party stair tool.

Also, my DC05 standard is for sale. It has no hose and doesn't work - no idea whats wrong as I will sell it cheap.

And, my Goblin Rio 800 is for sale. It has the hose, but no tools - ideal for the car.

I will sell or consider some form of trade as I would like a DC02.

Prices on request.

Thanks

Jacob

I dont need the whole dc04, just all the bottom half: The cleaner head, soleplate, height adjuster plate, clutch, clutch cover, clutch knob. Also the head clips.

Erm... I will have to sell it whole then, if anyone can't show me...

Post# 158882 , Reply# 9   11/13/2011 at 12:00 (4,541 days old) by jakesvacs ()

Right, take sole plate off, carefull take brushroll out without breaking self adjusting head, pull off internal hose, pull a little at each side of self adjusting head till it pops off. Unscrew the clutch cover and take belt off machine. Pull out clutch. take head clips off at the side and head should just pop off. Quite easy but de stijl machines can be fragile thats all.

If you dont want the clutch anymore just cut the belt with a stanley knife. That way u wont break anything.

My auntie handed me back my dc02 which morphed into my dc20 so she never took my dc02. Still got it and is still sat in the corner. I think you should swap vacs with tayyab as that is a good deal as long as you can get all them parts to fix the dc08.

Am I swapping your DC02 for my DC04?

Post# 161202 , Reply# 25   12/5/2011 at 13:01 (4,519 days old) by jakesvacs ()

No Jacob, your swapping with tayyab! It's a good deal plus dc02s are not that good anyway about half as good as dc04s.

Jake
