Okay, so I have this nozzle that came with my aunt's Nutone central vacuum system, model cv353, and you are able to swap the carpet nozzle for a brush on the end of the metal piece which connects to the wand. There is a slight problem though that I am in need of assistance with. The metal piece that is currently in the carpet nozzle doesn't fit into the brush hole. It simply slides out because the hole is too big. Can anyone help me with this? Am I missing an adaptor piece somewhere? I noticed that this tool looks similar to the Eureka canister nozzle's as well.

Thanks guys! :)
Daniel

P.S. yes, that is zebra print duct-tape covering the top of the nozzle as it has a crack in the top of it ;)

Picture of the hole on the floor brush. (Sorry for the bad quality pictures. I took them on my blackberry)
