busted a picture frame, picked up the big chunks, then vacuumed smash shreds... is this bad?

Small peices shouldn't hurt the vacuum.

Thanks.

Although it did sound awful going through it, I mean even the smallest pieces sounded like nails or something.. Although I accidently ran over a big chunk aparently, because I heard a loud POP, guessing a big piece :'( Must of hit the fan pretty hard.

I used my Vax QuickLite not too long ago to vacuum up redneck diamonds after a glass of mine hit the deck (standard UK pub pint glass, made to break up into small pieces to stop drunks using large shards as weapons), and that did okay with most of the chunks of glass (some were a bit too large to fit down it's rather narrow pipe), but as it's a vac I don't really care about, I wasn't too bothered if the glass tore it a new exhaust hole, and being a bagless, there was little chance of a bag being torn up... :)
