Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has put a VG1 in their eureka the boss 1934A. I am thinking of buying this vac, and I was curious if I could put my VG1 in this model because I love the VG1 brushrolls.
Thanks :)
Daniel

VG1

Yes you can put a Vibra Groomer 1 brushroll in the eureka as well as a Vibra Groomer 2. or an all brush cleavland wood products brushroll in this eureka too.

Hope that helped

I put a Vibra Groomer 2 into my 1934 and I LOVE the way it grooms the carpet! This vacuum is a great deep cleaner and is one of my daily drivers. The Vibra Groomer 1 brushroll also fits the 1934.

I put a VGII in my 1934a and I love it! It really is a great deep cleaner and lifts the nap of the carpet beautifully!

Just a question... Will the dial a nap on this eureka tolerate high shag? And what is the highest setting it has...? The one on my 1978 model cleans my shag perfectly.

My Eureka had 6 settings, and it will deep clean shag. I think the highest setting is a good 2.5 inches off the ground. Hope this helps..

I have one of these vacuums. Was just curious. It is 5 amp and much lighter than the earlier ones. I always felt the heavier the vacuum the better it grooms the carpet. After using the 1934 on my plush, I didn't feel it brushed the nap as well, however, I did not put a Vibra Groomer Brush roll in it.

Just my thoughts on the subject

about that weight thing.

it also appears that way to me, an idea is theheavier the machine the flatter it stays to the carpet, i think that is the key to kirby, that and with the tech drive it further keeps it flat as the vacuum is pushing itself not you pushing on the handle.

i feel the same way with lawn mowers too.

Although the 1934A is

a good machine I feel it is not a good deep cleaner due to the 5.0 amp motor. I like the older version of this when it had the 6.5 amp motor. I own a newer 1934A and I switched the motor out and put a 7amp commercial sanitaire motor in it so now it is a true deep cleaner.

I put a VG2 on my 1934A after the end caps melted on the original one and it definitely cleans better and has a whole different sound. It's a great machine! Never tried a VG1, but I do have it on another machine and it's a great brushroll too...
