So Saturday was a slow day for me so I decided to do a total spa treatment (again) to my Kirby G5. Basically I cleaned everything out and polished it.
So here are a few before and after pics.
Enjoy!

Trevor

Removal of belt lifter

broomvac's profile picture
If you punch a hole through the sticker covering the belt lifter, revealing the screw that holds the belt lifter together, you can take the belt lifter off. Remove that screw, and the belt lifter comes right apart!

By looking at his pictures, it looked like he did that to his G5.

Oh, and if having a hole in the belt lifter sticker cover bothers you, you can put a new cover over the top of the old one or peel back the old one and replace it with a new one when you are finished putting the belt lifter back together.

Thats exactly what i did! Its as easy as that But as stated above you need to deal with a hole in the sticker till you can get another one Lol
