I never stop at goodwill and check to see if there are any possible vacuum finds there, but I was in Plainfield, Indiana today and decided to stop. Found the Electrolux Epic upright, and the Oreck. Left and went to the Avon Indiana Goodwill and I couldn't believe that I found the Electrolux 6500 Epic there! I gave $14 for each.

This is after the clean up!

What find and at such good prices.... Good Wills here never have stuff like that. Congrats! What do you think of that Oreck versus the regular older models?

"GoodWills here never have stuff like that"

Same here. great finds that $14 each is like a steal for a goodwill.

I'm new here and I just saw this thread. I picked up an Electrolux XXX for $12 and a Filter Queen Defender air purifier for $2 at goodwill here in Dayton, OH.

I read your post the other day about the Goodwill. I decided to stop at the Goodwill in Minnetonka here off of Wayzata Blvd tonight. Not a huge selection, but couldn't believe I found a 1980's Eureka Cordaway upright dressed in that stunning wine color in really good shape. It's mine now and can't wait to clean it up a little. Couldn't believe I'd find something at the Goodwill. An inexpensive find, that's for sure. Good idea.

I was admiring your Oreck in the picture. I haven't seen one like that with the contemporary design on the hood, it looks kind of like the Pilot. What model is it?
