hoover self propelled w/t bagless repair problem |

 Hello all, I seem to be having trouble with the spring on the flapper valve assembly on a hoover self propelled windtunnel bagless that I'm working on for a friend. It is located at the floor nozzle and it will block off suction when machine is converted to tools. How does that spring go on? Thanks All | ||

Not very easy. Be careful, those can be dangerous. Even when I worked at Hoover, I usually always wanted supervision while re-loading those springs. I'd wrap it in a rag somehow and engage the spring. But it's been at least 4 years since I've even thought about doing that.
