That Electrolux Smart Vac was made in the USA, and in North America was labelled as the "Eureka Victory SmartVac" - it came in the traditional Eureka SmartVac silver colour scheme! Nice to see another iteration for you guys down under!

Not the greatest for carpet cleaning - but the "backsaver handle" to me was a cool design....

:-)

yea I have one of those dc05 motor heads too all that goes is the circuit board and any electronic shop can repair it easy, considering they never came to SA there are allot of the here.

I beefed up mine with the YDK motor as apposed to the standard panasonic motor , the ydk ha a bit more suction and makes it stick to the carpet well, ours is one of our daily drivers,

I love the shape f the telescopic tube aswell

I've had one before, and this one is not the circuit board haha... when you connect it directly... the low speed goes OK but on the top speed the motor slips and vibrates... think it is cactus haha. But had to have it!

I love mine , and I love the fact that the cyclone never cloggs unlike the newer ones, I.m not a great fan of cylinders but I do have a dc20 and the dc05 motor head that we use alot , what I am after is a dc21 motorhead , the one that uses the brush head from the dc18 , that must be an awsome machine.

i love the electrolux smartvac, we called it the widetrack here. I was working for elux when It was launched , looked like an alien after the contour models we had previously. They came in dark maroon red here , I still have it somewere.

I also have one that was brought in as a sample that had powerdrive, that was a nice one.

I too have a oxygen but mine does not have the pn, mine is met blue, nice machine though

Cheers

Gareth
