I found this site selling used vacuums and I came across this picture. At the very left of the picture is a lightweight upright I've never seen before. What could it be?

Chase, that is a Euro Pro lightweight upright, made to compete with Oreck. Rather nice too....seems well made & has the cloth HEPA bags. They used to sell this at Canadian Tire here in Canada, but that was back a couple of years ago.

That resembles the lightweight uprights from Simplicity and Riccar, made by Tacony. The Edenpure Bio vac is another similar vac. Does anyone know if Tacony private brands any other vacuums besides the above?

Yes Tacony make many private label machines. Fuller brush, Clean Max, Carpet Pro ECT.

Looks a bit like these "Home-Tek" "Light 'n' Easy" vacs, just a different colour:

Hometek light and easy, Britain's very own Chinese answer to Oreck!

I am always intrigued by those cleaners though. I have always wanted to try one, just to see what they're like. Has anyone else had any experience with them?

I've seen them in person, but never tried them out, they're not as big as an Oreck, and I think given they're chinese made, their build quality is probably pretty low, I think it's just a modern attempt at a Hoover Junior replacement, seeing how that the "small upright vac" niche has not really been filled yet... :\

and it is nothing at all like the home tek . I also have two of those vacuum`s "Home Tek " but mine is a Douglas and one is named a lady Bug . The Shark has a swivel head like the Oreck Pilot platnium .Manufactured in China but they are in no way the same machines .The Shark is much larger . If I can get to mine I will post pictures.
