in terms of filtration, sebo has a carbon odor pre-motor filter, and also they now have ultra bags, which are cloth material. and, 20 dollars for 8 of those cloth bags is a pretty good price, i think about equal to a box of 10 of the paper bags for the felix. here is a link for the cloth bags:

Hi Joshdonnell,

The Sebo Felix is an excellent machine. I have been using a Dyson DC24 as a daily driver and have done so since 2009 and had a DC04 since 2002.

I vacuumed up with the Dyson DC24 and used a Sebo Felix after and was amazed at how much extra it picked up and also left the carpet groomed and looking like its been vacuumed unlike the Dyson.

The Felix has quiet noise levels and the filtration is also very good. I like taking the body off the base when using in the car and the upholstery nozzle which is great for stairs and the like has very stiff bristless which pick up deeply embedded hairs etc.

The machine is very duable as I have dropped it on a hard floor a few times by accident. The brushes are quite stiff and vibrate the carpet surface, but you can adjust the head with the dial on the front to suit your requirements. There is also the versatility in the design which allows you to take out the original brush roll and put in a delicate brush roller for delicate carpet surfaces but I do not think that many people would need this with a Felix as you can manually turn the brushes off. I nearly forget to advise that there is a handstrap available as well so you can hang the Felix over your shoulder for above floor cleaning.

Hope this helps :-)

Sebo Felix...

has been my daily driver for at least year and half. They are quiet, durable, the filteration is excellent. This is a multi vaccum. The brushroll is stiff and vibrates the carpets and grooms very nice.I have the parquet attachment, turbo nozzle for furniture upholstery. The extra long hose, wands.I plugged it up at the holiday time with a ordament hook and did not know it until the vac was plugged up.Converts to a canister.Made well.
