For me at least! Today I found this very nice BOL Hoover Tempo sitting all alone on the side of the road for the garbage men. Luckily I got to it first! There is literally nothing wrong with it. It even has a perfect belt. It is just missing the attachments, which I have somewhere. This one is different from the more common baby blue one. This is purple, and not a 'wide track'. I haven't seen this one before! It's a Windtunnel, so it's very powerful and really digs into the carpet. This will definitely be one of my daily drivers!

A caddy vac was a hoover vacuum with a removable tool caddy on the side. Nice vac chase. |

Aren't the Caddy Vacs still made today? The Caddy Vac's head looks more like a Convertible than a Elite. |

The Caddyvac was made from the late 90s (not sure of the year, definitely 1997 or later) to 2005. It featured a removable tool caddy and a 7.2amp Elite motor, which changed to 12amps later in the run. This is a picture of my grandparents' TurboPower Caddyvac, with me vacuuming with it. The model in the picture was bought in Decmeber, 1999 at Frys Electronics. I think the one vacman117's picture is the original green model.

Great find! : ) Probably like the brand new Bissel (bagged model) I found. The husband walked out as I was loading it, told me his wife used it for maybe a week and bought a bagless instead. |

I think the WindTunnel MAX & Savvy (that have ONE brush roll) uses TRUE Wind Tunnel technology, unlike the T-Series & Platinum Generally, I prefer the ORIGINAL WTs (pre-TTI) better than the T-Series & MAX. |

I prefer a Convertible or Dial-A-Matic! |

As nice as that Tempo is, I can't help noticing the Eureka Victory Enviro-Vac in the background. I'd be tempted to start a thread on those. |

The Platinum does use Windtunnel Technology.
Floor-a-matic.... I mean this in the nicest way possible but I didn't ask what you would want over a Windtunnel. If you ask ME, a Windtunnel will out clean a DAM or Convertible any day... Brandon, the Eureka you had experience with must have had something wrong with it, because the Victorys are about as quiet as an upright gets. Unfortunately the Enviro Vac in that picture has bad bearings and is going in the trash. |
