What do you prefer for Sanitaire/ Electrolux/ Eureka vacuums? Vibra-Groomer I or Vibra Groomer II?? |

Definitely the Vibra Groomer II , although that generic 4 brush agitator is quite a good performer if it's outfitted with the genuine Eureka brush strips. |

It's interesting too that sanitaire puts the vg1 in the most expensive models and the cheap ones get the vg2 |

VGII (esp. on thick carpets) beats anything! A VGIII is even better. |

The VG III is a "4" brush aggitator. beater bars are replaced by brush strips. It is the same Helix shape as the VG I. |

No a vg3 is a vIbra groomer two With no beaters rather more bristles in their place. |

Shame it's cracked down the middle and missing a wheel (the latter's my fault for not putting said wheel in a safe place!!)... :S |

I like the VG1 - with the beater and the after market version without the beater bar...both work extremly well.
The VG2 also works very well!! If it is a Eureka...it will clean!!!! Even the old standard wood brushroll with the plastic beater bar cleaned well...the old Disturbulator would as Hans Craig would say "tear up any rug and clean it" Morgan |
