Hello everyone. I would like to see a picture of the Kirby Diamond Edition if anyone has one. I think that is the model with the 2 speed motor, correct me if I am wrong. What I'm interested in seeing is the switch that changes the motor speed. Switches are a big deal for me... my favorite part of a vacuum is how to turn it on and off :o) Is it built into the power pedal or is it a separate rocker, toggle, or slide switch? I can't imagine what it must look like. Thanks!

switch

The switch is not part of the power pedal. Its a small clear rocker button that sits on the top of unit next to where the handle connects to the machine. I left my camera out in the car but tomorrow morning ill take a pic and post for you.

I'll post pics later. The switch is backlit and turns green when on low.

thanks

Thank you so much for taking the time to do that for me! It looks nothing like I imagined it to. I thought it might be longer and skinnier. I also didn't expect it to be on the side like that... I thought it would be above the power switch on the back. At least you can still tap it with your toe like all the other Kirby controls. Seems so weird that they only used it on one model. Thanks again :o)
