Hey all- Im looking for a bit of help.

I was at the Goodwill a couple days ago and saw an odd-looking Bissell. (Sorry, I dont have any pics.)

Heres what it looked like: It was black. It looked like a Hoover Elite, sort of- with the bag on front. Thats all I can say. If I stop there today Ill try to snap some pics.

Can you tell me when this vacuum was made, should I buy it, (it was $5), and what its worth?

Thanks!

I've got one. It is made by Ryobi, and they are actually pretty powerful. Singer had their versions of it as well. We used to have one, we bought it in 2001 or 2002 I think. Anyways, this is mine, I bought it at a garage sale for $5 a few months ago. They are getting very hard to find, as they didn't last very long. It is possible that the one you saw is different, because there were very many different variations. But this is the exact model that I grew up with. Unfortunately, our's got thrown out when we moved.

I would definitely buy it if it is still there.

My Mom had one too...

It was Burgundy. Cleaned great and was pretty quiet. Replaced a Dirt Devil Featherlight, so everything seemed quiet after that one LOL. I would go back and get it too!
