Hi all! This is my first time on the Forum, so I just wanted to say Hi and see if any of my fellow vac buffs out there had a part I need. I found a neat little Singer canister at an estate sale a few weeks ago, complete with all tools in the cardboard caddy, but the plastic latch on the back of the cleaner that holds the lid shut in broken. The piece is similar to the one on a Eureka, only narrower. The previous owner used a bungie cord to do the job, but I'd really like to fix it right. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Trg

Hey! How's it going? Welcome to the fold. It's better from the inside. Can't help with the Singer, but somebody close by has to have the answer. How's the Roll Easy? If my solution didn't work, the answer isn't too far away. Good luck, and enjoy. Alan H.

I guess you're the one Kyle told us about, and posted pictures of your collection--and what a collection it is!! Just how many vacuums do you have?
Jeff

Jeff! Thanks for the nice welcome. Yep, I'm the one Kyle warned you about! I have between 110-120 vintage machines, and love every one of them. And this is after a few of them took a one-way trip to Alabama! Better still, the lucky little rascal still has more to come and get! Thanks again to everyone for the nice welcome and I'll hopefully be talking to ya'll soon. Later, Trg
