I hope these are interesting. Sorry the edges didn't scan very well.

These ARE fun to see!

I have a set of Consumer Reports running from roughly 1939 through 1979 (I think is the latest date) --- as far as I know, ALL the issues containing reviews of vacuum cleaners and floor polishers. I got them from a seller who was listing huge lots of CRs, he was a collector of magazines, and had a detailed database of each issue and its contents. So it was an easy thing for him to find all the ones I wanted. If someone wants to take on a pretty big scanning job and post them here, I'll be willing to provide a copy. I myself simply don't have time to do it.

LETTER OF THANKS

Hi Charles Thank you so much for all the extra work you do for this club and most of all adding so many pictures. I really enjoyed the comsumer reports. I have been a Kirby fan for almost all my life( getting old now almost 62) The Kirby 505 that my parents had got me started. I would love to have a 505 with that big old black bag well maybe some day.So again THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORK God bless Doug
