Found sitting along the roadside on the way back from work today..... it decided to follow me home..... Does anyone know the approximate age of my new friend?

I own that machine, a favorite. A bit loud, but nothing escapes it.late 80s I think, though your bag is different color.

Look at the Serial Number it should with a number like this 0988, which the month and the year it was made. These are from the late eighties or nineties.

They're big, loud, but good!

Good find there, Derek! Looks like it's in such good shape, & the fact it's a powerdrive model is a bonus.

I always thought those machines were just from the 80's though; I never thought they had a Hoover Concept in the 90's but I could be mistaken.

Have fun playing with your new find!

Rob

I have a similar model

My daily driver! Loud as hell, but does a good job. :) Mine is from 01/89.

That's my childhood vacuum. My grandpa had two of them. Still has one to vacuum the third floor library. The other bit the dust a few years ago.

I had my own for a while. Replaced it with my current older green one.
