I recently found that it is a pain to drain my Rug Doctor's tank. I always like to flush out my machines, so after I am done, I fill the tank about half full and slosh the machine around a bit to make sure I rinse as much detergent out of the tank as possible. Then I spray the solution out of the upholstery tool which takes at least 5 minutes or more. I know it's probably overkill, but it's just how I am :)

I decided to get this accessory drain hose online so that I can speed up the process. This hose is open ended and fits into the back of the machine's fitting just like the 12 foot hose and solution line does.

I'll have to try it out this weekend.
