Guys, just wondering what you think. I have like 4 boxes of Filtrete typeA from clearance at Target, 88 cents I think. Put a new one in my Concept, cleaned two rugs, could see the outline of the bag feed collar on the outside of the blue cloth! Took out the bag, all inside the cloth had to be vacuumed clean. Thinking time to throw the bargains out? I do not like the inside of the bag chamber to get that dusty. Any others have trouble with this brand of bags? They were even for sale in boxes, so uplevel looking. d.

You might want to stick to genuine Hoover bags for you Hoover cleaners as aparently these make a mess when used in your Hoover. -Jayson |

I had a problem like that several years ago with Genuine Oreck bags. My fix, which was really cheep, was to glue index cards on the outer surface of each bag, directly across from the inlet. It stopped the leakage. I'd try that before tossing out the bags. If that does not help, offer the bags to someone on the forum. Better to give them away than through them away.
Just my two cents. Justin |

Great idea on the reinforcement Justin! They are just old green look like one ply paper, and then the new boxes of bags are heavier white paper. Will try, as I use this for my go to machine to get all of the dirt up and make the pile look new again, none of my others will do that. Probably the very old carpet!
