Some of these might redundant, but some have changed. I'm not going to photograph the Kirbies because that collection hasn't had any additions since the last time I put them up. First pic is of the extra-long hoses that I wish every vacuum company would offer.

Filter Queens

I have only three, but they are perfect. The 65th Anniversary Majestic is pretty rare, and mine has almost never seen use.

Electrolux

sleepdoc's profile picture
This is the newer half of my Electrolx collection, now including the Legacy, which John gave me for my birthday last week. (If anyone has the matching small attachments, I'd like to buy them.)

Nice machines! I love those luxes! Two Questions: What do you think of the Dyson DC28? What is you personal experience with the machine? I am thinking about purchasing one.

WOWEE!!!!!!

What an fantastic collection indeed. Your dyson collection is super!!!

I have been wanting a Dyson motor/turbo head canister for AGES! After falling in love with my DC17, I wanted moar!!!! :)

The DC28 is an amazing cleaner. I have never been more impressed with a modern vacuum. I think its dysons best vacuum yet. The new clutch design is mesmerizing. I played with one for like 20 minutes at a local store.

I have the Filter queen triple crown too. Its a cool cleaner. Really beautiful design on the tub. Need to get it repaired so I can use it again.

Mieles are beautiful as ever, too!

I don't think the DC28 outperforms the DC17. I have both, and I'd never give up my DC17.

I love the chocolate. How does the Art perform? It is straight suction right?

The ART machines perform really well on hard floors. It is straight suction, so it's not much of a carpet cleaner, although it does well at picking up dirt that's right on the surface. It has really great bags and a sealed HEPA filter, just like every other Miele, and it's also very quiet. I'll probably just use it for really quick pickups on my main level, which has wood floors, but I couldn't pass it up NIB on ebay.

(in the words of poet Robert Burns): I "luve" the gold Trad! The Trad is my alltime favorite vacuum. Awesome collection!

A vacuum shop here has all the kirby models made. He had all the gold kirbys on display once. My friend bought the Gold tradition he had from him. It was unused but the gold was flaking off so the store had it sent to some place in town that does the plating and it has some special permanent gold coat. Cost him $600 for the plating I guess!

I think the Tradition was the best looking gold kirby. The other ones they kind of just slapped together using part from the standard models, but the tradition had its own unique pieces, even the bag!

Golden Trophy

sleepdoc's profile picture
Yes, the Tradition that was gold-plated received its own model designation, "Golden Trophy". The other gold machines did not have their own unique moniker.
