My problems with the Generation 3 and i'm happy that Kirby fixed many of these on the G4 and later machines are...
1. Bag and other parts get dirty really fast.
2. Tech Drive is very loud when in use.
3. White color is boring and one of the worst colors since the Dual Sanitronic 80.
That's about it.
What are you complaints with a Kirby model? Let me know.

Well, the tech drive is loud on all self-propelled Kirbys. Yes, the white is kinda boring. "ugliest color since the D80." HOW COULD YOU EVEN SAY THAT?!?!?! And if it's dirty, there's probably a leak somewhere.

You don't even have to reply to this, but if you think the DS80 is so ugly, why did you adopt its moniker as your own?

I think the G3 is pretty when it is clean and maintained, and, while I'm not crazy about the DS80's precise color, I really like it because it's unique.

Kirby Nozzle Lock after the G4

pr-21's profile picture
I have a Gsix, G5 and recently bought a new in the box Ultimate G. I also had a Sentria. On the Ultimate G and the Sentria the nozzle lock had to be turned completely to the right almost down to the top of the power nozzle and it would still move a little bit. I never had this problem with the old style nozzle locks. Anyone have any experience with this?

Bud

PS I changed the Unigasket on the Ultimate G and it still did not improve the lock down of the nozzle. On the G5 I bought a new power nozzle and still had to change the Unigasket. By the way the Unigaskets are a pain to get off and a breeze to stick on. I was very careful and still scratched the metal a little.

I was refering to the G3

The G3 as being just as ugly as the D80 was when it was new. Don't get me wrong folks I just so happen to like the D80 and it's my favorite Kirby.
