Here are the pics I promised of some of my restored vacuums. I have a Miracle Mate, a Tristar, and my newest, a Patriot! The Kirby I've had for a while, but I love it.

Power Nozzle...

Did that Electrolux Diplomat/Epic6000 power nozzle come with the Miracle Mate or did you add it or someone add it at some point?

Electrolux Power nozzle

No the original miracle mate nozzle was cracked and in my opinion not very good,so I took a like new electrolux nozzle and wired a eureka power cord to the circuit breaker and used some eureka wands. this set up works great,I also repainted the cover with plastic paint to match the machine.
The Tristar with its vibra groomer 3 was also repainted with hammer tone gold paint. To protect the tristar emblem I coated it with petrolatum gell before painting.

Great job Richard! I thought the Lux PN hood looked a bit shiny!

Very nice. Even though I'm not a big fan of the Big Foot power head on the Patriot. I belive that power head was made by Oreck for them. The Patriot is much better with the SEBO powerhead I feel. But nice collection, I like the L2 Kirby, one of my Favs.
