A few days ago there was a thread about Miracle Mate bags and how expensive they are compared to Tristar bags. I have both a Miracle Mate and a Tristar, so I wanted to make a conversion piece to use the Tristar bags in the Miracle Mate.

If you have a Miracle Mate bag, you can cut the cardboard top collar off the bag and use that on top of the fresh Tristar bags. If not, it's easy to make a conversion piece - we did it today with cardboard, tape, and a latex glove! I'm thinking of Youtubing it, just to show you what we did.

Works Great

Thought I would follow up on this one just in case some future Vac-Addict is looking and wondering if it works. Yes, It works great.
I talked to kirbykid63 and he mentioned you can leave the latex out and just put electrical tape around the opening to help seal it. I did not have electrical tape handy so I made the hole in the center slightly smaller so it would smush against the insert and it worked great, but I will still try with the tape when I find it.
