I started a new thread so you might see this question. These vinyl replacement Lux hoses? Are they currently being manufactured? In other words, can you still get your hands on them? Are these what people are calling Saran woven hoses, or are they the ribbed vinyl "industructable" types? Thanks for lettting me know, if you can. Rick

Vinyl Hoses

Saran hoses were the hoses sold with Electrolux machines from the Model AE until either the Epic 6000-6500 (1992) or the Renaissance (1993) -- not sure which model but for sure by the time the Renaissance came out, the woven saran hoses were no more.

And, no, as far as I know, woven saran hoses are no longer made. At least, not by Electrolux. Some of the 'bojack' supply houses may carry them but I doubt it.

Good luck with your search.
