Yes I am watching two,I have a friend who also sells vacuums that has one that he says he can't get much for. I will most likely trade some machines for his patriot at some point. Richard Groski new2youvacuums on eBay |

I would love to find an Electrolux Epic 6500 or 9000. Or Guardian at a great price! That's the next machine to find. |

@klectrolux
Skip the Guardian/9000 and Epic 6500 and look for a nice Epic 8000 or Renaissance. The Renaissance machines have a more substantial, true Electrolux feel to them. The 6500 and other egg shell bodied machines have a more cheap and flimsy feel to them. The Epic 6000/6500 is still a great vacuum that is very lite weight, but if you are used to any metal body Lux canister, the Renaissance/Epic 8000 is as close to the metal body build quality as you can get with a plastic body machine. As nice as the Guardian may be with its HEPA filtration, I find that the HEPA filter chokes off way to much of the machines suction, my Diamond Jubilee thats 25 years old has more suction than the Guardian. The power of the motor in the Guardian was not properly increased to offset the restriction in air flow from the HEPA filter, which gives the previous Renaissance style machines a greater advantage. |
