Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the suction measurement is for the last couple of Tristar models.
I have a Tristar, and an older Compact C6. The Compact seems to have better suction, but the hose is a lot narrower.I don't know if that plays a role in the power or suction. I was just wondering if anyone knew what the measurement is on the newer models and how they measure up against other canisters.

Thanks,

Alex

WELL.....

I do know the Empress by Health Mor has reduced the motor size, thus reducing the suction...I dont know if FQ has done this also, they used to use the high efficency Lamb, but dont use it anymore??

And also!

The old Compact did use the dual fan double ball bearing Lamb motor, the new Tristars use some cheap one fan thing.

I think kencart pretty much said it, Compacts and Tristars prior to the DXL (they changed during production of the DXL) had much stronger double-veined motors, the later ones had single vein, which made them weaker and less efficient...
