Not sure, but in a similar vein, the Queen's Golden jubilee was in 2002, and she's having her Diamond Jubilee in 2012, so it may be related with celebrations of royalty than of marital anniversaries... :) | ||

Diamonds...
Hello Charlie.
Diamonds are used for the Sixtieth Anniversary & beyond. By that time in life, most couples are not interested in acqiring more 'stuff' for their residence, rather they are downsizing quite often.
