I have always noticed all the vacuum parts on ebay. Which got me to thinking has anyone ever built a machine just from parts that they have found online. I am seriously considering trying to see if I can piece together an actual working machine from parts.

I've seen many Kirby bodys for sale. No bag, no handle, nothing but the machine. I think they go for like $50. If you had a kirby with a bad motor and good parts you could get a new one cheap. Good luck with your idea, I'd love to see the finished product.
