Good job! Only thing i can see is that Heritage is spelled with an I after the R,,not A. Also, the Heritage 1 came out in 1981, not 83. So the Tradition was sold from 1979 to 1981.
The Heritage 84 is identical to the Heritage 1, except for the belt lifter label, and handle decal and top of the bag holder all say Heritage 84. This is an anniversary model and was mostly sold only in 1984.
Also, There were 2 versions of the Heritage 2. They first came out in 1985. The Heritage 2 -1985, and the Heritage 2 Legend that came out in 1987. The Heritage 2 Legend (1987) has the green brush roll indicator light. Some late Heritage 2 (1985) models may have this also.
You are right, the Legend 2 is the light burgandy rose color,,but it came out in 1989, and was only in production a short time, until the introduction of the Generation 3.

Also, i think the Ultimate Diamond G is the only 2 speed model Kirby with a manual switch.

Yes, they do. I have two Heritage II Turbo's from about 1987 with the Brushroll Performance Indicator. I believe it was during the production of the Heritage II Turbo that Kirby shaved the rear "wings" off the rug nozzle.

The Heritage II came out in September 1984, and became the Heritage II Legend three years later. The HII Legend model also had a bunch of improvements which were slated for release around January 1988 including a new hose with a swivel-type end, a slightly stronger outer bag and of course the green brushroll performance light.

Yes, if i remember right, the very first Heritge 2s still had the Heritage 1 (or Classic Style) rug nozzle.
Not unusual to still find one here and there.

The only difference that i see between the H2 and the H2 Legend is is doesnt have the line-design on the handle.

The belt lifer labels and Bag Holder Labels are also different on a HD2 and HD2 Legend. A HD2 Belt Lifter Label says TURBO on the front,, and the HD2 Legend says Legend. The Kirby Legend Bag Holder label says Kirby Heritage 2 Legend.
I think the HD2 Bag Holder Label just says Kirby Heritage 2.
Dont know why but ive always prefered the Heritage 2 Legend to a regular Heritage 2 or Legend 2.
