Somewhere in here I described the rear-end of the early Electrolux Model E, noting it was chromeplated like the rear-end of the LXI, and I said I'd post some pix when I came across them.

Well, I came across the pix but now I can't find the thread where I mentioned this! Brain Damage...

Webmaster Fred, if you remember where that line of discussion took place, feel free to move this post to that thread...

Anyway, here are some pix. I believe this is a pretty rare version of the E, as it is the only one I have ever seen. 'twas another eBay find, and even had the original woven hose with the hammertone-blue machine-end coupler, and, Rick B., the original Belden cord with Belden plug!! :)

just to show what the rear-end of the later E looks like. Note that the only part that's chrome is the halo; the rear filter cover is now hammertone blue matching the rest of the machine.

This isn't the best image to show this since it's an illustration but naturally I couldn't find a better one!
