What is the best way to remove a rusted or stuck nut that holds the fans onto the armature of a vacuum cleaner motor? I have tried WD-40 to no avail. Also , how does one hold the armature so it will not move to remove the nut? And finally, do ALL vacuum cleaner motors fan nuts tighten clockwise as they do on Electrolux, or might some have turned counterclockwise to tighten? Universal in particular. Any help on this subject would be appreciated. I have a good number of tools for automotive, electrical applications so terms that you might use to explain things would not be lost on me. Thanks, Rick
