HI All
Can anyone help I am looking for a vac shop or anyone that can service a Fakir polisher for me, Its been in daily use for 12 years and never any problem but to-day its sounds like the brushes are stating to go. The last vac shop i new of near Croydon closed a few years ago and they had always looked after it. ( It was a sad day when they closed) The company I got it from are somewhere in the North but geting it to them is a big headache and takes to long. Its the only polisher I have had that works. The other polishers I have had just do not do the same job and with 2 dogs that always seem to have muddy paws I need it fixing and fast. Also does anyone know where you can still buy Traffic Wax?

Mike,
You might like to try Hill Vacs, 446 Durnsford Road, Wimbledon SW19 8DZ Ph: 020 8946 7299

This is an old fashioned vacuum cleaner shop although I do have to say I found the owner a bit surly any time I have been in - worth a phone call anyway

Thanks

Hi
How are you
Many Thanks for this l'll ring in the morning I know the road but have never seen the shop. So few people seem to use a polisher anymore they are hard to find.
I wish you well
Mike

As you head towards Wandsworth, its on the left hand side just before the junction with Revelstoke Road - there is even a partial view of it on Google maps. It is easy to miss as the pizza place next door extends out beyond the line of the other shops and there is a bus stop and shelter right in front of Hill Vacs. The guy in there has loads of interesting bits and pieces, its just a shame he is not a bit more friendly, frankly I dont know how he stays in business at all
