My neighbor has one w/o the cord reel. It works really nice. He was going to give it to me b4 he moved but he didn't =(

Great vacs by Panasonic....love the fact you could get a nice long stair hose as an optional accessory and just plug it in the back of these vacs.

I wonder if the Bare Floor Setting Pedal on the dark one is prone to break or is hard to adjust with your foot. It seems like such a great idea, but I imagine that someone with a weak foot would have trouble with it. Or someone with a heavy foot might break the mechanism.

Anyone have any thoughts on this feature?

It broke on my friends, pivot point pulled out! Have seen many that had belt burned all over then, no idea why. My older 6255 has more a derail-er set up. 2 belts.

I have a grey Jet-Flo also a trash find. I love the red.

Jet-Flo's are my favorite "modern" vac. They work well, they're easy to use, they're pretty sturdy, maybe not the greatest deep carpet cleaner but if you don't have plush carpets doesn't matter anyways.
