Today on the way home I thought I'd drop in to the local goodwill. I have not gone there in a while since they have changed the store to reflect more "modern" shoppers! So this means less "old", "junkie" items to sift through. Big mistake in my opinion. I think a portion of people like to sift to find thier treasure!

So today I found a Miracle Mate vacuum with the powerhead. All for $8.00. They also do not let you test electrical items anymore. So I took the risk and purchased. Well, after I unblocked the clog in the hose, it works just fine. Lucky me, I guess. The serial number ends with a 91. Does this mean it was made in '91? It sure is a heavy, durable looking vacuum.

It also sure reminds me of the Compact a friend of mine owned 20 years ago. Same company, different brand?

Use a Reader

Guy, get a muti media reader (very inexpensive these days) to plug into a usb port. Take the storage media out of the camera and plug it in to the reader and then using "my computer" park your pics in a folder on the HD - then using any old editor, look, size, fix, whatever and resave. Now you are ready to post them. Don't hook a camera to the computer - those connections can be slow and need separate software to drive. Just a thought.
