Edgar,

It looks nice - but I can't read Spanish, so I'm afraid I'm no help.

Nice and clean though.....

Nice version of a Hoover Convertible, love the colors and bag combination. I'd go for it if it catches your fancy!

Looks like a Hoover Senior Ranger, model U4147, pure guesswork though, only know that through this one for sale on ebay:

Edgar,

Think this one was a store exclusive model in the UK. It's from the late 70s/early 80s and is quite an unusual model - has the US style bag spring and height adjuster window, but with the European foot switch. Wonder which side of the Atlantic it was built on?

Either way, it's fairly rare, if you like it you'll probably not find another for a while...

Hi, yes It is a Senior Ranger U 4147 /U 4197 from 1981-82. I have one.
It is different from the other European Hoover Senior Rangers from the 70s and the base is made in plastic. However the lebel says "made in the USA"

Yes, it looks like a U4147!

I have one example, though not in especially good nick. This one appears to have the original bag..and yes, they were made in the USA. There are a few 240 volt versions of them scattered around the UK, not especially rare but a lot less common than the Hoover Senior Ranger models eg U4002/U4014 and 652 series.

The chassis are all plastic, unlike some of the earlier metal-bodied Seniors/Convertibles.

Here's a couple of pictures of my U4147 along with the plastic based UK 6565E's

go get it!

So rare, the Ranger models with that plexi carpet height indicator... (at least here in Europe)
Got a Ranger myself (mustard colour, top fill bag), love it to pieces.
But with that 1234-window thingy you will even be happier.

I bought the U4147 off ebay

I'll post some pics once I have restored it.
It's from Nov 1979 and the colour is a muddy red.
