Well, the fun present arrived today, the green Bissell Bagless. Wow, what do some people use their machines for? Sticky, full of Love my Carpet, or very fine litter, brushroll impacted. Not just the clear flex hose, everything but the dump bin was packed! And, it sounds fine!! Used my hmmmmm guttless?? Silverado to backward suck and removed most with that. Then it promptly popped open to tell me I'm done. I think it was disgusted.Running fine, new belt and big long clean of yuck.Actually pretty decent beater brush, aggressive!

I know what you mean.

Gave the neighbor a bagged Eureka upright 2 months ago after her Hoover died (beyond repair). She called me last week because it didn't have any suction. A spool of thread and about 2 lbs of dog hair trapped around it.

Yuck, I felt horrible for the poor thing. : (
