Hey guys,

I just happened upon a neat little website that lists all the unique "trademarks" or "brand names" owned at one time by the National Union Electric Corporation, formerly the parent owner of Eureka Williams. Kind of neat to see many of Eureka's features and model names listed all in one place.

Click on each of the individual names and you will see the patent registration....it's odd because so many of them either don't make sense or have expired or "expunged"! The curvey "E" Eureka logotype seems to have been retained by NUE even after they sold Eureka to Sweden's Electrolux in 1974. On the patent papers, the logo was meant to be used for vacuum cleaner motors! Even the name "Eureka" seems to be filed for use on a toy vac for some reason.....strange.

Here's the link....
