Back on Saturday I was at Kohls and came across a bagged T series on display. Hadn't seen one in person yet so I looked it over and it looked pretty nice, fairly solid built and not too flimsy, except for the handle which tends to twist a little more easily then I'd like. Fast forward to today and only TWO stores in the whole area have bagged T series models in stock. Kohls wanted 169 for it, but I found it at Meijer for 139 dollars.
So I ran (drove haha) back home and got some money from my stash and went back and snatched it!

Once I got it home only assembly required (as with regular Windtunnels) is attaching the handle and screwing in one screw, very easy.
It came with a power upholstery tool, and the rest of the tools that would come standard with a regular Windtunnel.
The airflow of this monster is insane! just like the Windtunnel self propelled and the Tempo I repaired in the past. The power upholstery brush sounds like some scary dentist tool from a horror scene.
The sound of the motor is high pitched and unpleasant, but not so loud that it hurts.

I still need to post about mine! I got the Pet one, which is just a difference in tools. But I know what you mean about the handle twisting, it makes me sort of angry, but it is a great vacuum!

I spent some time analyzing the build quality today and came to the conclusion that everything on this Windtunnel T Series is paper thin and in other words "simplified", guess that's how they got the weight to 15 pounds. So I'd have to advise to anyone that has one to be careful about knocking it around. The handle, brushroll on/off assembly, and the brushroll holder are my biggest concerns/worries.

Besides my quality concerns this vacuum is a monster! I took it over to my grandma's house and "tested" it out there cuz 90% of her house is carpeted and we have next to no carpet in our house. the brushroll has softer bristles then other Windtunnel/Tempo's I've seen but the brushroll is otherwise pretty aggressive, go near a loose string and it will suck it up and bind the brushroll before you can blink. Luckily the on/off button is right at fingers reach so no belts get ruined. the vacuum wanted to FLY across the berber carpet, I had to control it like it was a crazy dog on a leash. The plush carpet OTOH took some effort to push around.

The Windtunnel T-Series sounds just like the Dirt Devil Reaction Fresh I had for awhile and sent off to rug duties in my mom's store. It's that same high pitch scream, except this is a little quieter.

i always thought that vacuums with long hoses tend to lose suction than the shorter hose upright vacuum cleaners.
for example if you used a stretch hose and you stretch it out all the way and then once you tried to vacuum something up the vacuum couldnt suck it up cause the vacuum didnt have that much suction. This isnt true is it. It was one of my thoughts.

I am not a huge fan of the newer Hoovers that have been on the market in the past few years but this one does look nice. It appears to be a bit more stream-line than the original WindTunnel design and Im soo glad they came up with that new bag door. I dont care much for my grandmothers WindTunnel and I despise changing the bag in it! Its such a pain in the ass and I never feel like its on the collar all the way. Its seems TTI has solved this, as I sure Hoover must have received numerous complaints about the older Y-Bag setup. Have fun with your new toy!

I never had trouble changing the bag in original Windtunnels, in fact I thought it was fairly easy. I consider it more of a pain to change a Kirby or an F&G bag. But nevertheless it certainly couldn't be more easy and clean to hold the bag cover over the trash and press the button and watch the bag drop into the trash with absolutely no dust plumes shooting back at you.

I think the only thing I like better about the regular Windtunnel (non S/P) is that the build quality is more substantial and the plastics don't bend like a plastic spoon. I probably wouldn't recommend this vacuum to any users that run there cleaners through hell and use them as dance partners. Though I did already take the entire vacuum apart piece by piece and it comes apart very easily. Very easy to work on, and as long as I can get parts will be a piece of cake to repair if something breaks.

I've heard alot of complaints about the regular Windtunnel tipping over when you use an attachment and try to stretch the hose... I tested the tipping resistance on my T-Series today... They seem to have thought that one through a bit this time, the hose comes out of the bottom of the vacuum as seen in my second picture on here, so I stuck the crevice tool on the end of the hose and walked around the room. It holds itself up pretty good especially being as light as this vacuum is, the vacuum just followed me around very easily.

Also, it's been 5 days with this machine now and I'm not feeling any reason to want to return this vacuum! it should be a keeper.
