I just bought my 5th electrolux on ebay this morning. It also makes 3 this month. So I had 2 at home and 3 still in the mail! Has this ever happened to anyone else?
I also have to thank Charles and his website 137.com for getting me hooked on Electrolux. (My wife would say blame, but that's another story.) I have always only really cared about Hoovers and Rainbows, but I have broadend my horizons. The only problem is that I'm running out of space!

1st of 3

I got the 1st one it the mail yesterday. This one was rebuilt by Metropolitan vacuum in New York, that's why it has been painted. I'm pretty sure it's a model S, but I can't find a tag anywhere. Any ideas? I'm also curious about the cord halo. Was this an aftermarket addition?
When I first pluged it in the suction was terrible, but I changed the bag and now it is as good as my model G. I couldn't belive it, there was only a little sawdust in the bag. So much for no-name bajack bags!

P.S. sorry I don't have more pictures, I can't get my camera to work with my computer. :( This one is from the Ebay listing.

Your Metro Rebuilt

is a Model R, not S. The S never had a halo and no way for providing one.

Metro rebuilt

This vac has no power nozzle socket. And only one wheel in the center on the front. It looks like two holes were drilled into the back to screw on the halo. I'll try to get some better pictures up. My &*(% camera is a pain!

hm, well,

yes, I suppose a halo could be drilled into the rear of a Model S. Just the sort of crummy work that makes bojack vac shops famous.......
