One of our choir members came through for me again.

She told me her brother had passed away and she was left his home. She thought there were four or five vacuums, they never threw anything away...LOL

She brought this to me...I was so happy.

The top bearing was bad, purchased the last one from Hesco and she purrs like a kitten.

Morgan

Gotta admit...

The unit does look very nice, and now it runs well too! So very happy for you Morgan. Would this have been a Eureka?

Montgomery Ward

Multi-Beat - Does anyone have a picture of this in Orange white back silver handle? I have been looking for a picture of one of these forever! My great-grandmother had one in the 80's. I have never seen one like it. An interesting story. One day after she threw that vacuum out- I was playing in a back closet of hers and I found an identical machine in the back of the closet. Apparently my great aunt bought one of the same when my great grandmother bought hers and forgot about it! This was a long time ago early 90's when I found the machine, but it didn't work so sadly my great grandmother threw it out. If anyone has a picture magazine ad video footage ANYTHING I would love to see it!

Rick,

Yes, Eureka made most Montgomery Ward vacuums.

heres mine....

heres a nice variation on the same cleaner...this belonged to my best friends (peter) parents....they bought it new in 1980..im guessing Morgan, that yours would be from the same time period. the only mechanical difference in mine is mine is 6.0 amps...yours is a very refreshing difference than mine as far as color goes...congrats!
